Portsmouth Pretty Muddy 5k : Southsea Common, Saturday 09 May 2026

The Portsmouth Pretty Muddy is a 5k obstacle course around Southsea Common and Castle Field with views of Ladies Mile. Participants climb, crawl and slide over a series of muddy obstacles and complete the route on the grass at Southsea Common, adjacent to Clarence Esplanade. The course is described as flat.

Entry prices are listed as Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. To take part participants must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children.

On-site facilities include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. There is no local bike rack at Southsea Common. Avenue de Caen will be closed as part of the route and general parking is advised in city centre car parks or park and ride locations. Blue Badge parking is available nearby.

Event accessibility provisions include Sunflower wristbands at the enquiries marquee, trained Event Managers, a British Sign Language interpreter on stage and a QR code on stage.
