Middlesbrough Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Stewart Park, The Grove, Marton, Middlesbrough TS7 8AR. The start and finish are on grass in the large field next to the park car park. The course loops around Stewart Park on tarmac paths with some sections on grass and passes the Captain Cook Birth Place Museum.

Start times are organised in staggered waves every 15 minutes. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part; there are separate Pretty Muddy Kids events for younger children. Marshals are present on the course and participants may skip obstacles if needed.

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. There is limited parking in the main Stewart Park car park and additional parking across the road at Prissick Football Fields. Blue badge parking and electric charging points are available in the park car park. Public transport options include the number 63 bus which runs past the park entrance roughly every 10 minutes and Marton train station which is about a 10 minute walk. Cycling racks are not available.

Entry prices are shown as Adult £22.49 and Children £12.00 and the minimum fundraising target is £50.00. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal.
