Race for Life Pretty Muddy London - Clapham Common

The event is a 5k obstacle course held at Clapham Common (Windmill Drive, SW4 9DE). The route starts and finishes on gravel and otherwise follows a mixture of grass and tarmac paths. A course map is available but may be subject to change.

Participants climb, crawl and slide around a series of obstacles. Start times are arranged in staggered waves approximately every 15 minutes. The event is open to people aged 13 and over; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children.

The venue meeting point is the gravel football pitches just off The Avenue behind Mount Pond. General event parking is not provided; the nearest Blue Badge parking is on Windmill Drive or Broomwood Road. Public transport options include Clapham South station (about 0.5 miles) and local bus services on Broomwood Road. Bike racks are available on the common and near Clapham South station.

Onsite facilities listed include refreshments, toilets and a bag drop. Dogs are not permitted. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not suitable.

A timed Friday event on a flat 5.3 km out-and-back course along the river Thames, with lap-based distances from 5 km to ultra and a £10 Run for a Tenner entry benefiting Rays of Sunshine.

A 50 km multi terrain ultramarathon around Maidenhead, run on a single lap route that follows the Thames Path and Jubilee River. The course is mostly off road with four aid stations, chip timing, live tracking and free race photos.

A 50km ultra along the River Medway from Rochester to Tonbridge, mostly on marked towpaths and trails and passing three medieval castles. The event includes three aid stations, live timing, bag transfer and a strict nine hour cut off.

Functional fitness racing in Twickenham on 30 May 2026 with ten Xercises and repeated runs across solo, doubles and relay divisions. A LITE weight division is available and all entrants must be 18 or older.
