Rabbit Run Wales

Rabbit Run Wales is a series of trail races held on the private grounds of the Merthyr Mawr Estate. The event takes place on the South Wales coast at the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve. It is delivered in partnership by the Merthyr Mawr Estate and Run 4 Wales. The event also includes family races called the Bunny, Double Bunny and Toddler Dash.

Course and distances

The course runs over natural trails and coastal terrain. The 12K route passes hills, valleys and a river crossing, and includes a descent of the Big Dipper, described as the highest sand dune in Wales. The 40K route includes the 12K features and adds a section along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with dramatic coastal landscapes, plunging cliffs and secluded coves.
