Rabbit Run Wales

Rabbit Run Wales features a series of trail races held on the private grounds of the Merthyr Mawr Estate on the South Wales coast. The course uses sections of the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve, an area noted for wildlife and extensive sand dunes.

Routes include a variety of terrain, with hills, valleys and a river crossing. One section passes the Big Dipper, described as the highest sand dune in Wales. The longer route also runs along parts of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, where the course traverses coastal cliffs and secluded coves with coastal views.

The event is delivered in partnership by the Merthyr Mawr Estate and Run 4 Wales. The programme also includes a selection of family races alongside the main trail distances.
