Rabbit Run Wales

Rabbit Run Wales is a series of trail races held on the private grounds of the Merthyr Mawr Estate, located on the South Wales coast within the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve.

The event offers two main race distances:

  • A 12K (7.5 mile) trail race.
  • A 40K (25 mile) trail race.

The 12K route includes varied terrain with trails, hills, valleys, a river crossing, and the chance to descend the Big Dipper, which is noted as the highest sand dune in Wales. The longer 40K race includes the 12K route and extends onto the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, featuring cliffs, coves, and coastal views. The event also includes family races called the Bunny, Double Bunny, and Toddler Dash.

The event is delivered in partnership by the Merthyr Mawr Estate and Run 4 Wales (R4W). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
