Rabbit Run Wales
Rabbit Run Wales stages a series of trail races on the private grounds of the Merthyr Mawr Estate, located on the South Wales coast within the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve. The reserve is noted for its wildlife and dune landscape.
One race is a 12K route that uses estate trails and includes hills, valleys, a river crossing and passage over the Big Dipper, the highest sand dune in Wales.
A new 40K race follows the 12K terrain and extends onto the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, incorporating coastal terrain with plunging cliffs, secluded coves and wide coastal views.
The event is delivered in partnership by the Merthyr Mawr Estate and Run 4 Wales R4W.
