The Quivering Quads Fall Classic

The Quivering Quads Fall Classic takes place on October 25, 2026 at Frenchman’s Bluff Trail in Cuivre River State Park, Troy, Missouri. The event offers two trail race distances and limits overall registration to 400 participants. Runners start in waves of 30 to 35, seeded by predicted road race pace.

Courses combine wide fire roads and narrow single track with rolling hills, steep climbs, descents, multiple creek crossings, and sections of bottomland forest along Big Sugar Creek. The footing can include rocks, roots, and mud. Organizers note on course aid stations will provide minimal supplies and recommend participants carry their own hydration and nutrition. Course marshals, traffic control, and athletic trainers at the finish provide on course support.

Participants receive a long sleeve shirt, a custom finisher medal, post race food and snacks, beer from Urban Chestnut, and other refreshments. Awards are given to the top two male and top two female overall finishers and to the top two male and female finishers in each race distance across these age groups: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus.

Dogs are not allowed at the event. Volunteers assist with parking, course marshaling, aid stations, and post race distribution and receive race swag or a ten dollar Fleet Feet gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
