Pride Run Lexington

Pride Run Lexington takes place on September 19, 2026 at Coldstream Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The event is presented by Frontrunners Lexington and supports local LGBTQ+ students, families, and allies through resources, programming, GSA development, activities, and training for K-12 public schools.

Race offerings include:

  • 3.1 miles chip timed 5K run/walk, overall and age group awards
  • 1 mile fun walk, untimed, no awards

The 5K awards include overall top three finishers in Male, Female, and Non-Binary categories, plus multiple age-group awards across youth and adult bands up to 75 and older. Strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes are permitted and walkers are welcome. A virtual runner option is mentioned for those not on site.

Registration fees are listed for the 5K and 1 mile events; a volunteer role is offered with no fee. Organizers report a need for 20 to 30 volunteers and a cap on volunteers at 40. Participants are offered at least two packet pickup opportunities, including a pickup before race day and a pickup on race morning at Coldstream Park. Giveaway items such as shirts and water bottles are subject to a race morning pickup cutoff and may be redistributed if unclaimed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
