Prairie On Fire Backyard Ultra

Noblesville, United States • 6 Sep 2025

Prairie On Fire Backyard Ultra is Central Indiana’s only official Backyard Ultra, staged at Koteewi Park’s White River Campground in Noblesville. In its fourth year, the race features a 4.167-mile loop repeated on a dirt and gravel day course through Koteewi Park, followed by a 4.167-mile paved out-and-back along E 234th Street. Runners continue until only one is left standing. The event has drawn sold-out crowds in the past and is billed as bigger and better than ever. The format challenges endurance and rewards persistence, with a wide range of loop counts from 1 to 21 last year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
