Royal Beast 12 Hour Run/Walk/Relay
The Royal Beast 12 hour event takes place at Southeastway Park in New Palestine, Indiana. Participants choose between a dirt trail or a paved trail that run through the park on a loop of about one to two miles. The format offers solo entries and relay teams who alternate turns on the chosen course.
Registration for a soloist or a team member includes a finisher's medal and a Royal Beast shirt. Event operations include a countdown clock for the 12 hour period and a scrolling screen that displays how many loops each participant or team completes. Prizes and medals are awarded to top overall male and female finishers and to the top teams.
Additional on site features include a DJ, light snacks and water, and a pizza and awards celebration in the evening. Participants are advised to bring a pop up tent and chairs. An open bar will be available for participants aged 21 and over offering beer, wine and Truly hard seltzer; nonalcoholic root beer is provided for other participants.
