The Pleasant Ridge Backyard Ultra is an endurance running event held January 31 to February 1, 2026, at Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center in Marietta, South Carolina. The event is organized by Greenville County Recreation. The format requires runners to complete repeated laps of 4.167 miles each hour on the hour until they cannot continue. A runner who fails to complete a lap or returns after the hour is given a DNF. The last runner to complete a full lap is declared the winner. There are no runner categories; all participants start at the same time. Entry fees are listed as $70.00 until August 31 and $85.00 after August 31. Every participant receives a DNF camp mug, and the winner receives a finisher award.

Course and logistics

The course includes sections of the JFA trail and paved paths at the camp and retreat center. Early bib pickup and racer aid station setup are available the day before the race. Runners are assigned a 10×10 aid station area; if using a pop-up tent they should secure it. Camping is offered to registered runners and their support crew in the assigned 10×10 spaces.
