Trailblaze Challenge Trailfest
Make-A-Wish South Carolina will hold the inaugural Trailblaze Challenge Trailfest on December 12, 2026, at Table Rock State Park. The event brings together hikers, families and wish supporters to raise funds for wishes for children with critical illnesses across South Carolina.
Choose from these routes:
- 22-mile Trailblaze Route full-day hiking across rugged terrain
- 12-mile Pinnacle-to-Pavilion Route scenic moderate route
- 2-mile Family Lake Loop family-friendly, shorter loop
Registration for the 22 mile and 12 mile routes closes November 1 or when those routes reach capacity; registration for the 2 mile Lake Loop remains open until it reaches capacity. The first group training hike begins September 19; attendance at group training hikes is encouraged but not required. In-person and virtual info sessions for the fall event have passed, and a virtual info session recording is available.
Participants receive access to training hikes and preparation resources, fundraising tools with personalized coaching, exclusive Trailfest merchandise and incentives, connection to a community of supporters, and entry to the Trailfest Celebration Festival. The festival at Pinnacle Pavilion will include wish stories and mission moments, participant recognition, food and entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Pets and strollers are not permitted on any Trailfest route. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses interested in visibility and employee engagement.
