Plattekill Mountain Race, Roxbury NY

The Plattekill Mountain Race takes place in Roxbury, NY on June 6, 2027. Organized by CTW Endurance, this event is the fifth edition and includes a mountain race and a 5k on the ski slopes and trails of Plattekill.

The mountain race follows trails and ski slopes with frequent climbing and descending. The course length is 6.5 miles with 3500 ft of elevation gain. The 5k shares the same start on a gravel trail, gains 1000 ft in the first 1.25 miles, traverses across the mountain offering scenic views, and then returns via a 1.25 miles downhill section to the finish.

Awards and participant items are planned. Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the mountain race and to the top male and female in the 5k. Additional prizes and finisher swag are to be announced. Course maps are provided for both distances.
