The event is the fourth edition of the Plattekill Mountain Race, held in Roxbury, New York on June 7, 2026. It includes a longer mountain race and a separate 5k held on the ski slopes and trails of Plattekill. Registration closes on June 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

Course and awards

The mountain race course traverses up, down and around ski slopes and mountain trails at Plattekill. The mountain race covers 6.5 miles with 3500 ft of elevation gain. The 5k follows the same initial gravel trail, climbs 1000 ft in the first 1.25 miles, then traverses across the mountain before descending the final 1.25 miles to the finish. Course maps are provided for both races.
