Plattekill Mountain Race - June 6, 2027
The Plattekill Mountain Race takes place in Roxbury, NY and is organized by CTW Endurance. This is the fifth edition of the event and it uses the ski slopes and trails of Plattekill for its courses.
The main mountain race follows uphill and downhill routes across ski terrain and forest trails. The race course covers sustained climbing and descending and is described with a significant net elevation change.
Distances
- Mountain Race: 6.5 miles, 3500 ft elevation gain
- 5k: ~3.1 miles, 1000 ft gain in first 1.25 miles then 1.25 mile downhill finish
Awards and participant items are planned: awards to the top three male and female finishers in the mountain race and top male and female in the 5k. Additional prizes and finisher swag are noted as forthcoming.
