Plattekill Mountain Race

The event takes place on June 7, 2026 in Roxbury, New York at Plattekill Mountain. This is the fourth edition of the race and it uses the ski slopes and surrounding trails of Plattekill for its courses.

Two distances are offered:

  • 6.5 miles with 3500 ft of elevation gain
  • 5k with about 1000 ft of gain in the first 1.25 miles

The mountain race traverses up, down and around ski slopes and mountain trails. The 5k follows the same gravel trail start as the mountain race, climbs steeply early, then traverses across the mountain before a 1.25 mile downhill finish.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each race. Additional prizes and finisher swag are planned and will be announced. A course map is provided for each distance.
