Plattekill Mountain Race

The Plattekill Mountain Race takes place on June 7, 2026, at Plattekill Mountain in Roxbury, New York. This is the fourth edition of the event.

There are two race distances:

  • The Mountain Race is 6.5 miles long with approximately 3500 feet of elevation gain. The course goes up, down, and around the ski slopes and trails.
  • A shorter 5k option is available. It shares the same start area and includes about 1000 feet of elevation gain in the first 1.25 miles. The route offers views across the mountain.

Check-in is scheduled between 8:30 AM and 9:15 AM on race day.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each race. Additional prizes will be announced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
