Pinhoti 100 is a point-to-point 100 mile trail race held in the Talladega National Forest area near Sylacauga, Alabama. The course combines approximately 83 miles of single track, 17 miles of jeep road, and 2 miles of pavement, and crosses the highest point in Alabama. The route includes rocky sections, creek crossings, and ridge lines, and finishes at the Sylaward Trail Head at Lake Howard. The race is organized as an annual event and is listed as a Western States qualifier for the following year.

The event has a 32 hour time limit for the 100 mile distance. A headlamp is required for the initial dark section of the course. Transportation from the finish area to the start is available by bus for a fee and must be purchased in advance. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the Sylaward Trail Head; bibs, crew display cards, and drop bag acceptance are handled at that pickup and ID is required.

Aid stations are provided along the course at multiple mile points with varied services; some stations allow crew access only, some accept drop bags, and some are water only. Restrooms and porta johns are located at several key points including the start, selected aid stations, and the finish.

Online entry is via UltraSignup. There is no race day registration, no transfers to other runners, and no deferrals. A full refund policy is offered through a specified deadline.
