Pinhoti 100

Pinhoti 100 is a point-to-point 100-mile trail race in Alabama on the Pinhoti single-track trail. The course includes approximately 83 miles of single track, 17 miles of jeep road and 2 miles of pavement. Runners cross the highest point in Alabama and travel ridge lines, rocky sections and creek crossings in the Talladega National Forest. The overall time limit for the 100-mile distance is 32 hours.

The event is the 19th running of Pinhoti 100 and serves as a Western States qualifier for the following year. Support on course includes multiple aid stations and several drop-bag locations; aid points are placed at set mileages including High Rock (7.0 mi), Shoal Creek (13.8 mi), Lake Cheaha (43.52 mi) and the Finish at Sylaward Trail Head (100 mi). Some aid stations are water only or have crew access rules, and drop bags are accepted only at packet pick up.

Logistics include packet pickup the day before the race at Sylaward Trail Head, bus transportation from Sylacauga to the start available for a fee, and designated parking with odd/even vehicle instructions.
