The Pine Mountain 500 is a set of stair and trail running events held on Giant Pine Mountain in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The race covers the 500 stairs of the mountain. The event starts at the top of Pine Mountain and follows Kramer Drive to Lower Pine Mountain Road / Hibbard Street, then turns onto Pine Mountain Road and proceeds to the Pine Mountain 500 course. The event is chip timed; participants receive an overall time and a Pine Mountain 500 time. Distances are listed as approximate.
