Mail Pouch Mile

Mail Pouch Mile is a combined event at The Farm in Carney, Michigan on August 22, 2026. The day includes two separate races and registration with no fee.

The program includes these distances:

• Farm 5K on wooded double-track trails behind the farm.
• Mail Pouch Beer Mile totaling one mile as four 0.25 mile laps.

The Farm 5K is a casual 5K that follows relatively flat wooded double-track trails behind the farm. Participants are asked to stay on course and avoid adjacent bean fields.

The Mail Pouch Beer Mile starts and finishes at the historic Mail Pouch barn and uses a 0.25 mile out and back course on the gravel driveway. Beer will be provided unless participants choose to supply their own four unopened cans or bottles of at least 12 oz and 5 percent ABV. Each competitor drinks four beers and runs four 0.25 mile laps; beer must be consumed before each lap within the transition area. Competitors who vomit before finishing must complete one penalty lap immediately after their fourth lap. The event follows Beer Mile official rules except that it does not take place on a standard 400 m running track. All beer mile participants must be 21 years or older. Registration opens May 14, 2026.
