Piglove By The River 10km & 5km
Piglove By The River is an evening running event based at Piglove By The River, Clarence Rd, Leeds LS10 1EE. The event offers two race distances and follows riverside trails and public footpaths close to the Trans Pennine Trail.

The 5 km course starts at Piglove and follows the Trans Pennine Trail for 2.5 km before turning around just before Thwaite Mills. The route is described as flat with good quality footpath conditions. The 10 km daytime route continues past Thwaite Mills on similar terrain and becomes slightly more rugged in places; it remains mostly flat and includes one small bridge with steps. A night 10 km option doubles the 5 km route with a turnaround at 2.5 km. Turnaround points are clearly marked and marshalled.
Terrain and elevation are listed as public footpaths, riverside trails and tarmac paths, with total elevation 193 m / 633 ft. Facilities at Race HQ include toilets and bag storage.
All finishers receive a drink courtesy of Piglove Brewery. Medals and t-shirts are available as optional extras at entry to reduce environmental impact. Entry is limited to 150 and minimum age is 18.
