Piglove By The River 10km & 5km takes place at Piglove By The River, Clarence Rd, Leeds LS10 1EE. Distances offered are:

The event has an entry limit of 150 and a minimum age of 18. Elevation is listed as 193 m (633 ft). Terrain includes public footpaths, riverside trails and tarmac paths. Registration and race start times are given by the organiser but are not included here.

Course and facilities

The 5 km course follows the Trans Pennine Trail for 2.5 km and turns around just before Thwaite Mills; the route is described as flat with good-quality footpath conditions. The 10 km daytime route follows the same path then continues past Thwaite Mills and becomes slightly more rugged while remaining close to the river; there is one small bridge with steps. The night 10 km route is two laps of the 5 km route, turning at 2.5 km. Turnaround points will be clearly marked and marshalled.

Facilities at Race HQ include toilets and bag storage. All finishers receive a drink courtesy of Piglove Brewery. Medals and T-shirts are available as optional extras at entry. Headtorches are required for the organiser’s Autumn "By Night" event. Parking is available at CitiPark Leeds Dock, Armouries Drive LS10 1LE; the venue is near Granary Wharf, Royal Armouries and Leeds Station.
