The event is based at Garnier Road Car Park with parking available at St. Catherine's Park & Ride (postcode SO23 9NP).

This is a timed, multi-lap out and back route that crosses Hockley Viaduct and uses a smooth road surface. Laps are 2.62 miles each and participants may complete as many laps as they wish within the event time limit.

Distances and examples:

  • 2.62 miles per lap
  • Five laps equals a Half Marathon
  • Ten laps equals a Marathon
  • Eleven or more laps for an Ultra

The event operates a flexible rock up and run start format so participants can choose when to begin within the permitted start window. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher's medal. An aid station provides sweet and savoury items, a signature potato offering, and plenty of vegan options.

Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. The organiser provides a physical running service and issues a giveaway medal to all participants, including virtual entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
