Phoenix Running Crawley - Not the London Marathon

Phoenix Running West Sussex stages a timed event at Tilgate Park in Crawley on Saturday 24 April 2027. The event uses an out-and-back lap of about 5.3 km (3.28 miles) on compact trail and off road surfaces within the park. Runners complete as many laps as they wish within a seven hour time limit.

The event allows entry at a range of distances by counting laps. The minimum distance is 5 km (3.1 miles). Available distance options include:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

Organisers offer two entry prices: a medal entry at £39.95 and a no medal option at £22. The event provides on-course support including an aid station, same day results, athletes profiles, Phoenix World features, digital BIBs, and digital finishers certificates. Start times use a flexible "rock up and run" format so participants can arrive across the available start window; special start time requests can be accommodated depending on chosen distance. This event is presented in partnership with Phoenix Running at Walton as one of two events across London Marathon weekend. Places are strictly limited. Distance restrictions for participants aged 20 or under apply under UK Athletics rules; full terms and conditions are available from the organiser.
