Perth Trail Series: Stay Puft – Yanchep National Park

The event is a trail running series stop at Yanchep National Park with the start and finish located at the Chocolate Drops Tearooms. The start/finish area functions as a small village where friends and family can wait, purchase food from the tearooms, and watch participants arrive.

Course markings are provided and organisers supply an event brief to participants the Wednesday before the event. Bib pickup for all events occurs on race day only at the start/finish. Participants may drop down in distance on the day by notifying event staff.

There are three colour coded course options with approximate distance ranges:

  • Green course: walk or run, 4–6 km on remote trail.
  • Blue course: mostly runnable with occasional stops, 9–12 km on remote trail.
  • Black course: for experienced trail runners, 12–16 km on remote trail.

Children must meet minimum age and prior experience requirements to enter each course and may need a parent or guardian to accompany them on their first attempt at a higher course. Registration remains open until the Tuesday prior to the event unless sold out. Park entry is required on arrival if a parks pass is not held and a $15 increase applies due to DBCA permit fees.
