Perpetual Motion : Grapevine, TX

Perpetual Motion is a multi-day timed running event on the east shore of Grapevine Lake at Mariner Point Park / Silver Lake Marina (1 Sunfish Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051; GPS 32.959208,-97.056219). The event uses a certified 800 meter paved loop along the lakeshore and changes running direction every four hours.

Aid station provisions vary by time of day. Daytime offerings include a range of usual ultra foods in multiple flavors and textures. Nighttime aid includes those foods plus hot soups, meals, and hot drinks. The official sports drink is Hammer Heed. There are many spots for personal aid stations, free camping available, and parking on the loop.

Awards and recognition include trophies for the top three male and top three female finishers in each in-person race, coins for 50 plus miles, and buckles for 100 plus miles with verification required for virtual entries. Participants receive long sleeve shirts and unique participant medals and other swag; shirt size is not guaranteed after November 16. Timing is provided by MCM Timing and Results LLC.

Experience an urban cross country loop along the Trinity River in Fort Worth. This grassy trail event features 5K and 10K distances with proceeds benefiting a local wolfdog sanctuary.

Panther City Ultra on April 4, 2026 at Marion Sansom Park features 50K, 25K, 10K, and 5K trail races on unpaved, rocky terrain with aid stations, timed results, finisher medals, and a 300-runner cap.

A 3 km indoor obstacle course featuring 25 plus obstacles, a three band penalty system, timed Elite and age categories, and a listed Elite prize purse of $4,000. The event also serves as a USA OCR Team qualifier.
