The 5K is an out-and-back course that begins at the Chamber Trailhead and uses the Silver Comet Trail. The trail is described as flat and tree-lined, with room for strollers and families. A 1K Jingle Run is offered as a shorter option for younger runners or those who prefer a shorter distance.
Proceeds from the event go to Paulding Young Life, a ministry working with high school students through weekly gatherings, small groups, mentoring, and camp activities. Pre-registration is offered at Good Stuff Coffee Co. in downtown Dallas (109 W Spring St). Race day packet pickup and on-site registration will be available at the Paulding Chamber of Commerce. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers and a special award will be given for Best Festive Costume. The 5K uses age categories from 10 & Under through 70 & Over.
