Palmetto Bluff Buffalo Run
The Palmetto Bluff Buffalo Run is an annual trail event in Bluffton, South Carolina, held on land that covers 20,000 acres of Lowcountry forest. The event benefits the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy and uses an all-trail course that combines tree-shaded single track, dirt, and gravel road trails. A 6.2-mile trail segment moves through ancient maritime forest. The course can be muddy in places.

Logistics and race support include packet pickup on Saturday, December 12 at Palmetto Running Company, 25 Minetta Lane, Bluffton SC 29910. Hydration and fuel stations are located midway and at the finish. Relay teams and 50K competitors may set up pop-up canopy tents and tables for support in designated staging areas. The event is cup free; water stations are provided on course so participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration bottles.
Awards and post-race activities: long sleeve shirts are guaranteed to participants registered before December 1. Finishers medals are awarded for all 10K, 30K, 50K and relay participants. All 50K individual finishers receive a Buffalo Head Award. Bronze Buffalo Awards are given to overall first place male and female in each race and to first place relay teams.
