OUTLAST FORT WORTH is a six-hour trail endurance challenge held at Gateway Park Trailhead in Fort Worth, Texas (4323 E 1st St, 76117). Participants complete a 5K loop each hour on the hour, starting a new lap every hour until six laps are finished. If a lap isn’t completed in time, the runner is out; finish all six for the OUTLAST medal and top spots on the national leaderboard, with the fastest overall earning $1,000.
The course runs on trail terrain—rooty, flat, and dirty single-track with natural elevation. Aid stations provide water and snacks; the event is cupless, so bring a bottle. Patches are awarded for 4–5 laps and a wooden medal for 6. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
