633 Run : Little Elm trail races and stadium events
The 633 Run is a community running event held at Lobo Stadium and on the Little Elm trail system. The event includes the following distances:
- 1 mile fun run at the stadium
- 5K trail and road course
- 6.33 mile course in honor of a fallen local police officer
Proceeds support a student scholarship fund for public service and the Little Elm Education Foundation. The courses include sections of Hart and Walker roads and finish at Lobo Stadium. Per event rules, the 5K and 6.33 mile are chip timed using disposable chips attached to race bibs; the 1 mile fun run is not timed. All finishers receive a collectible medal; awards are given to overall and masters male and female, plus standard age-group awards.
Registrants may form teams during registration with one member creating the team and others joining under the team name. Packet pickup is offered the Thursday and Friday before race week at Chavez Elementary and on race morning at the stadium. The course officially closes at 10:00am. The event is held rain or shine; lightning within a two-mile radius may trigger safety delays. Strollers are permitted, pets are not allowed on the 5K and 10K course, and personal music devices are strongly discouraged for safety.
