Outagamie Stampede
The Outagamie Stampede is a run/walk held during the Outagamie County Fair on June 27, 2026 at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds and Seymour Lake Park. Participants follow a cross-country course that stays off roads, intersections, and sidewalks and finishes at the Midway Stage.
Distances offered include:
- 5K run/walk: two laps of the cross-country course
- 4K run/walk with barnyard obstacles
- 300 yard Kid’s Fun Run with detours
The Kid’s Fun Run features four detours such as cow chip collection, a mini hay bale hop, and weaving through wooded sections. The 4K course includes barnyard-style obstacles: locating and depositing colored cow chips, hopping over round hay bales, weaving through sticks in the park, and crawling through a culvert.
Competition formats include individual and team scoring. Teams must include five or more members to qualify for team scoring. Age categories are listed for awards as follows: 2-10 for the Kid’s Fun Run, 16 and under, 17-35, 36-59, and 60 and over. Overall men’s and women’s winners are recognized and the fastest finishers receive “Fair Bucks.”
Registration fees vary depending on registration date and participant age. Kid’s Fun Run entry is free with fair admission; other classes require a registration fee plus fair admission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
