Distances

The event offers two trail running distances.

  • 10 Mile Race: This course follows the marathon route to the first checkpoint before heading back to the finish via forestry tracks.

Course Details

The marathon route is described as a mountain run with climbs and scenic views. There is a single cutoff time of 6 hours at the 20.5-mile checkpoint, requiring a minimum pace of approximately 18 minutes per mile to continue. The event includes aid stations.

Participant Requirements

Participants must be 18 or older. The event has mandatory kit lists for each distance. For the marathon, this includes items such as a waterproof jacket and trousers, a warm layer, a head torch, a first aid kit, and a reusable cup. The 10-mile race requires a first aid kit, a bivvy or foil blanket, 500ml of water, a waterproof jacket, and a reusable cup. All finishers receive a coaster and a buff.
