One Ale of a Trail is a fall trail running event held along the Lakefront Trail in Little Elm, Texas. The event offers runnable trail distances that follow shoreline sections of Lake Lewisville and include mostly crushed granite, packed dirt, and natural trail surfaces with a few bridges.

The event uses professional chip timing and features aid stations on course with water and hydration. Finishers receive event items that include a vintage-inspired long sleeve shirt, a custom bottle opener finisher medal, and a race bib.
