Oklahoma City Trail Running Festival
The Oklahoma City Trail Running Festival takes place on October 10, 2026 at Bluff Creek Park, 11301 N Meridian Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. The event is a one-day trail running gathering using trail-built courses with natural terrain and looped formats.
Distances offered include:
- 5K unique trail loop
- 15K
- 15K RUCK
- 35K
- 50K
Courses run on singletrack with short punchy hill climbs, exposed tree roots, and wooded terrain. The main course is a looped layout with 15K loops; the 5K follows a separate loop. Elevation is shown as about 50 ft gain per 10.2 mile loop. This is a cupless event; a water-carrying system or bottle is required. Aid stations are placed on course and include hydration and food at the main and Buffalo aid stations plus a water-only station.
Ruck participants must meet weight requirements: 30 lb for those over 150 lb, 20 lb for those under 150 lb. All participants receive a Trail Running Festival soft T-shirt and a finisher medal; 50K finishers and ruck finishers receive event-specific awards. Top male and female finishers in each distance receive first place awards and the last place 50K finisher receives the DFL award.
