The Oil Creek 5 & 13 Stacked Trail Races take place at Drake Well Museum and Park in Titusville, PA. The event uses the Gerard Hiking Trail in Oil Creek State Park and the museum grounds as part of the courses. Distances offered:

All proceeds benefit Friends of Drake Well, Inc., the nonprofit partner that helps administer Drake Well Museum and Park. Race entry includes a race T-shirt.

Course, fees and awards

The 5-mile course starts at the Jersey Bridge (museum side), follows the Gerard Hiking Trail and connects back to the museum parking area via Museum Lane and the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad corridor. The 13-mile course begins on the museum grounds, follows the dike alongside Oil Creek to Jersey Bridge, continues on the Gerard Trail past Miller Farm and returns along the railroad corridor and Museum Lane to the museum parking area. A course map with aid stations is provided by the organizer.

Fee tiers vary by event and registration date. A strict 90 minute cutoff applies for 5-mile runners attempting both races. Each race has a five-hour time limit. Finishers receive awards; additional awards are given for completing both races, top overall finishers, masters categories, and course record breakers. Post-race refreshments are provided.
