Oil Creek 5 & 13 Stacked Trail Races
The Oil Creek 5 & 13 Stacked Trail Races are trail events held at Drake Well Museum and Park in Titusville, Pennsylvania. The fifth edition took place on May 16, 2026 and the next edition is scheduled for May 15, 2027. Proceeds support Friends of Drake Well, Inc., the non profit partner that helps operate the museum and park.
Distances offered include:
- 5 mile race (ages 13 and older)
- 13 mile race (ages 16 and older)
- Stacked challenge combining the 5 mile and 13 mile races
- 2 mile youth race (ages 12 and under; parents may accompany)
Race courses use the Gerard Hiking Trail and other trails in Oil Creek State Park, running past features such as the Jersey Bridge, Miller Farm Bridge, Boughton Bridge, the dike alongside Oil Creek, and sections adjacent to the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad tracks. Both the 5 mile and 13 mile courses finish in the main parking area of Drake Well Museum and Park.
The 2026 fee structure listed tiered entry prices for each distance and a flat fee for the youth race. Race shirts were included with registration for 2026 and available as an optional add on for the youth race. All participants receive finisher awards; additional awards include top overall and masters prizes, a unique award for stacked finishers, cash for stacked winners, and a record breaker award when applicable.
