The course includes a steep climb on Seneca Trail to the Cook Forest Fire Tower, followed by sections that run alongside the Clarion River and the shaded paths of Tom's Run. Three aid stations are placed along the course and are staffed by local high school cross country teams; they provide hydration and basic nutrition.

Registration is processed through UltraSignup and registration closes on August 8 at 11:59 PM ET.

Lodging near the park includes cabins, campsites and local inns. Weather in the forest can vary between sun and shade, so participants should plan clothing accordingly. The event is organized by local runners and volunteers with ties to the park and the surrounding community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
