OC Trail Runners Group Run : Newport Coast

This is a free, social, non-competitive group run organized around trail routes at El Moro and Laguna Coast Wilderness Park in Newport Beach and the Coastal Peak Park area in Newport Coast. The meeting point is in front of the restrooms at Coastal Peak Park, 20403 East Coastal Peak, Newport Coast. Cross streets: East Coastal Peak and Ridge Park Road.

The scheduled route for this date is approximately 7.5 miles with roughly 1,290 feet of vertical gain and includes a few short rocky sections. Routes vary between meetings and a different route is used each time.

The event is described as slower paced and recreational rather than competitive. Complimentary snacks and a raffle drawing will be available after the run. Wearing pink or red for Valentine’s Day earns an additional raffle ticket. Participants are advised to carry hydration and some fuel.
