7th Annual NSRF The Bunny Trail 5K

The Never Stop Running Foundation hosts The Bunny Trail 5K Run/Walk at Bethpage State Park. This event takes place at the Bethpage Polo at the Park site and features a course that transitions from a grassy polo field into the wooded trails of the park. The route consists of scenic soft trails with a few small hills, though it is described as mostly flat.

Participants can choose from the following event options:

  • 5K Run/Walk
  • Virtual 5K
  • Kiddie Run

The in-person 5K follows a cross-country style path through Massapequa Lands and Bethpage State Park. On-site amenities include an informal area for personal belongings in the staging area and restroom facilities located within a short walk of the start and finish lines. Hydration and refreshments are provided at the finish line.

The Virtual 5K option allows participants to complete their distance at a location of their choosing between April 4 and April 12. Participants in the virtual event can log their times and upload photos to a digital leaderboard. For the in-person race, those who register at least three weeks in advance receive a personalized bib with their name. Recognition is provided for top finishers in various age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 90 and older. All proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting athletic and charitable programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
