About the race
King of The Hill is a trail event at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY, held on March 6, 2027. The course is a loop of approximately ~1.4 mile that follows the Cardiac, Picnic, and Snake trails.
The event is held in two timed formats. In the three hour format, titled King/Queen Of The Hill, the winners are the participants who cover the greatest distance during the three hours. In the one hour format, titled Prince/Princess of the Hill, winners are the participants who cover the greatest distance during one hour.
Registration opens December 1, 2026 and closes December 31, 2026. Fees listed for the event formats are $85.00 for the three hour race and $70.00 for the one hour race.
