Northwoods Mullet Trail Run
The Northwoods Mullet Trail Run is scheduled for May 9, 2026 at Cedar Glades Park, 461 Wildcat Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913. The event offers multiple trail distances and includes runner divisions that allow canine participants with limited entries.
Distances:
- 25k trail run, no dog division and a with-dog division.
- 10k trail run, no dog division and a with-dog division.
Dog divisions for each distance are limited to 10 entries. Pre-event packet pickup is available at the race venue on Friday, May 8 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Race day packet pickup windows are provided for each distance at the venue. Course routes are available as downloadable GPX files.
The races will be cupless; no paper cups will be provided on course. Water stations are placed along the routes : two opportunities on the 10k and three on the 25k : and participants are advised to carry a refillable vessel because temperatures have risen into the 80s historically. Awards include overall male and female prizes for both distances, awards for best mullets and fullets, and recognition for top canine finishers.
A postrace gathering called the Beaver Bash includes live music, grilled food, and local beer; the party is included for race participants. Presenting sponsors are Fleet Feet of Little Rock and Harrison Construction of Hot Springs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
