LOViT - Lake Ouachita Vista Trail Endurance Runs

LOViT is a pair of supported trail ultraruns held in the Lake Ouachita area of Arkansas with race operations on Mountain Harbor Resort property. The event offers two distances:

• 100 mile
• 100 kilometer

The course follows single-track trail and dirt roads along ridgelines and the southern rim of Lake Ouachita. The route features rocky, rolling hills, roots, ruts, and significant cumulative climb. The trail includes out-and-back sections and holds an IMBA Epic Trail designation.

Aid station support is provided along the courses, with standard ultra fare such as fruit, salty snacks, water, and Tailwind Nutrition. The 100k course has 13 manned aid stations and the 100 mile course has 22 manned aid stations. Drop bags are accepted for specified stations and will be returned to the finish after the event according to the posted schedule. Due to remote sections of the course, runners are required to carry a water bottle or hydration pack and must carry a light source when running in the dark; a backup light is strongly recommended.

Finishers receive event apparel and custom swag; 100k finishers receive a medal and 100 mile finishers receive a custom finisher's buckle. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance. Run LOViT operates as a nonprofit event and directs proceeds toward trail development in the Ouachita National Forest and the greater Hot Springs area.
