Lake Ouachita Vista Trail LOViT

LOViT is a trail ultramarathon held February 27-28, 2027, in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, hosted by Mountain Harbor Resort. The race follows sections of the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail along the southern rim of Lake Ouachita and through the Ouachita National Forest. The course includes rocky, rolling hills and ridge lines and covers extended distances on singletrack and backcountry trail.

• 100 Mile
• 100 Kilometer
• 50 Kilometer

The event materials and race operations include a participant packet, course map and crew directions, GPX course files, aid stations, pacers, drop bag options, cutoffs, and posted results. New this year the start, finish, and pre-race check-in are located in the East Cove Building, which is near the pavilion used in previous years and will be signed on site. Registration opens April 1, 2026.

Organizers note that the course is difficult and that adequate physical and mental preparation is important. Runners are responsible for their own well-being during the race and should plan accordingly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
