Sunset 6/12/24 Hour Endurance Challenge

The Sunset Endurance Challenge is a multi-distance endurance event held at Sunset Lake on Fairfield Avenue in Benton, Arkansas. The event takes place November 27–28, 2026 and is organized as looped running around the lake. Registration is free; a suggested donation of $20 supports the local running club. Registration opens March 21, 2026 and closes November 28, 2026.

The event offers timed formats where participants run or walk continuously for set durations. Aid is provided each loop with fuel, hydration, and food, and volunteers support participants throughout. The event runs overnight and includes lighting and music at the venue.

Participant groups include first-time ultrarunners, experienced distance runners, and walkers seeking an endurance experience. Entry limits are set for each format: the 24 hour field is capped at 100 participants, the 12 hour field at 35 participants, and the 6 hour field at 100 participants.
