Winterfells Challenge

This Strava-based winter event takes place in January 2026. Runners choose between two formats and earn points on a leaderboard for completed miles and climbs. The Full route is a longer option with multiple climbs, while the Mini is a shorter hill-focused route.

Frozen Goat Challenge

Held February 7, 2026, the event starts at the North Park Ice Rink and uses up to four rugged trail loops. Loops range in length and participants may run any number of loops for a combined total distance. The event includes a chili and soup cook-off after the running.

Green Mile Loop Challenge

Scheduled for September 12, 2026, this is the 10th edition. Runners repeat a roughly two-mile shaded singletrack loop from Deer Browse 2 Pavilion for up to six hours and record how many laps they complete. Each loop includes about 300 feet of climb. Participants earn raffle tickets based on loop count and awards are given to the highest loop totals. A post-run lunch is provided.

North Ridge Nightmare Race

This October 24, 2026 event is a Halloween-themed trail race in its 6th edition. Runners choose between two distance options through wooded trails, with costumed participants along the course. The event features trick-or-treating, a post-race party, and overall and age-group prizes. Entries supported local trails and the park.
