Multi-Day Endurance Event at Sussex County Fairgrounds
The NJ Trail Series One Day is an ultrarunning event held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey. The race takes place on a certified 1.000-mile flat loop consisting of pavement and crushed gravel. The course is lit at night and features a digital display showing participants' completed laps and current race positions.
Participants can choose from a wide variety of timed and fixed-distance challenges:
- 72-hour, 48-hour, and 24-hour races
- 12-hour and 6-hour day or night sessions
- 50K and 26.2-mile marathon distances
- Multi-day options for consecutive marathons or 50K runs
The marathon course is a Boston Qualifier, and the event holds an IAU Bronze Label and USATF sanctioning. Timing is managed via a professional chip system, where only fully completed laps contribute to a runner's final distance. Any runner meeting USATF Qualifying Standards in the 24-hour event receives a refund of their opening entry fee.
On-site amenities include a full kitchen serving hot and cold food, including vegetarian and vegan options, available throughout the event. Runners have access to a walk-in refrigerator and can prepare their own food if desired. The venue provides heated bathrooms and shower facilities located directly on the course. While pacers are not permitted, registered participants may run together. Grassy areas for tents and RV parking spots are available for an additional fee.
