Nixon 5K for Title IX

This event is a family-friendly 5K walk/run and a 1K kids run for participants aged 13 and under. The 5K course follows Yorba Linda's El Cajon Trail and is described as moderate. The event commemorates the achievements of Title IX, the landmark equality legislation. Participants are encouraged to wear team gear supporting female sports. Strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed.

Awards include an official finisher medal for all 5K participants. Additional medals are given to the overall 1st-3rd male and female winners, as well as top finishers in multiple age groups.

Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at the BREA Town Center and on event day at the Richard Nixon Library parking lot. Event parking is at Friends Church, requiring a walk to the start line. Following the race, there is a vendor fair in the Library parking lot.
