Nitro Turkey 2026 takes place at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline Park in San Pablo, California on November 26, 2026. The event includes multiple race options and family-oriented activities.

Children 10 and under who attend with 5K or 10K runners receive free entry into the Little Turkeys race and are provided with a special medal and a goodie bag. Walkers and families are explicitly welcome, and Thanksgiving-themed costumes for both children and adults are encouraged.
The event hosts a food drive for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano; participants are encouraged to bring canned goods, with a specific request that each Little Turkey bring at least one canned item. A virtual runner option is listed among the participation choices.
Nitro Turkey also participates in a Double Turkey Challenge with a separate Thanksgiving event called Quarry Turkey on the following Saturday. Completing both events, in person or remotely, makes participants eligible to receive a connector medal that joins the two race medals to form a larger medal; no special registration is required for this challenge.
