Nitro Turkey 2026 at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline Park

Nitro Turkey 2026 is a Thanksgiving Day running event held on November 26, 2026, at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline Park in San Pablo, California. The event offers timed and virtual options and is organized by Brazen Racing.

Distances include:

  • 10K
  • 5K
  • Little Turkeys run for children, roughly 100 yards

Children age 10 and under who attend with a 5K or 10K runner receive free entry into the Little Turkeys race and are given special medals and a goodie bag. The event hosts a food drive for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and requests that participating children bring at least one canned good on race morning. Thanksgiving-themed costumes for adults and children are encouraged. Walkers and families are welcome.

The event references a Double Turkey Challenge that links participation in Nitro Turkey and a separate Quarry Turkey event on Saturday the 29th. Participants who take part in both events, either in person or remotely, are eligible to receive a connector medal that unites the two race medals; no special registration is required to be eligible.
