Mansfield, United States • 14 Jun 2026
Event Information
The Nipmuck South Trail Race takes place at Mansfield Hollow State Park in Mansfield, Connecticut. Parking is available close to the start and finish area in the park's picnic area, with volunteers providing instructions.
Distances
The event offers two race distances:
- A 15-Miler (approximately 15.7 miles)
- A 5K
Course Details
Both races start in the Mansfield Hollow State Park picnic area. The 15-Miler is an out-and-back course mostly on the Nipmuck Trail. It follows the Fenton River and features varied terrain including fields, woods, small bridge crossings, and a climb to a 50-foot cliff. There are three water stops and support at road crossings. The 5K course is new for 2026 and is contained entirely within Mansfield Hollow State Park with no road crossings. It includes runnable single-track trails, a forest loop, and some technical terrain on the final loops, which feature a few hills.
Registration and Amenities
Pre-registration is recommended. Race-day registration is available at a higher price and is cash-only. Race shirts can be purchased as an add-on during registration, with orders closing before May 22.
