The Nidderdale Road to Nowhere is a challenging 30.4 km (18.9 miles) fell and trail running event held in the Yorkshire Dales, starting and finishing at Scar House Reservoir in Upper Nidderdale. The course features 840 meters (2756 feet) of ascent, crossing Little Whernside and traversing the Great Whernside plateau ridge before returning via Riggs Moor and Armathwaite Moor. This rarely traveled route offers expansive views across Nidderdale, Coverdale, and Upper Wharfedale.
