Nidderdale Road to Nowhere is a long-distance trail race run by Nidderdale Fell and Trail, starting from Scar House Reservoir in Upper Nidderdale, West Yorkshire. The 30.4 km (18.9 miles) route climbs about 840 m (2,756 ft), crossing Little Whernside, the Great Whernside plateau, and the ridge to Mossdale before returning via Riggs Moor and Armathwaite Moor to Scar House. The largely moorland course offers wide views across Nidderdale, Coverdale and Upper Wharfedale when weather permits. Held under FRA rules with navigation by map and compass only (GPS for navigation not allowed); mandatory kit is required and parking is limited.
