Nidderdale Road to Nowhere

Nidderdale Road to Nowhere is a long-distance trail race run by Nidderdale Fell and Trail, starting from Scar House Reservoir in Upper Nidderdale, West Yorkshire. The 30.4 km (18.9 miles) route climbs about 840 m (2,756 ft), crossing Little Whernside, the Great Whernside plateau, and the ridge to Mossdale before returning via Riggs Moor and Armathwaite Moor to Scar House. The largely moorland course offers wide views across Nidderdale, Coverdale and Upper Wharfedale when weather permits. Held under FRA rules with navigation by map and compass only (GPS for navigation not allowed); mandatory kit is required and parking is limited. Choose a 25-mile or 12-mile route through the Yorkshire Dales, open to walkers and runners. It starts from Cracoe Village Hall and includes checkpoints with refreshments. The event must be completed within 10 hours.

A classic, challenging fell race on Ilkley Moor, organized since 1990. This 8 km AS category course features steep, rocky terrain and requires full kit. Junior races add to the event day.

A chip timed 10 kilometre multi terrain race in Ripon with a separate 1 kilometre fun run for all ages. Entry fees vary for affiliated and unaffiliated runners and places are limited.

Join the Saint Michael's Harrogate event with 10K and 5K trail runs on laps. Your participation supports the local hospice. Facilities include water stations and baggage storage, with entries capped at 1000 runners.
