The Stone Circle Marathon & Half
The Stone Circle Marathon & Half is a full marathon and a half marathon around Gargrave in North Yorkshire. The route visits the Broughton Stone Circle and runs through Yorkshire Dales scenery.

The course is looped with the half comprising one loop and the full comprising two loops. The multi terrain route includes fields, footpaths, canal towpaths and a short section of country roads. There are three refreshment stations per loop offering a variety of snacks and drinks. Finishers receive a sustainable medal and post race recovery refreshments include Yorkshire tea, home made cakes and chips provided by a local vendor.
Event facilities include toilets, changing facilities, bag storage and first aid cover. The race is ARC registered and timing is provided by OpenTracking. The event is volunteer led and organised by runners. Entry requirements state participants must be healthy and capable of completing the course on race day, with minimum ages of 18 for the full marathon and 17 for the half marathon.
The races are run on a non profit basis to raise funds for attendance at the World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk 2027. Entry fees listed are £30 for the full marathon and £22 for the half marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
