New River Gorge Wilds Trail Run 2026

The New River Gorge Wilds Trail Run is an off-road running event held at the ACE Adventure Resort in Oak Hill, West Virginia. The event takes place within the scenic landscape of the New River Gorge during the autumn season. Participants can choose from three distinct race distances:

  • Full Marathon
  • Half Marathon
  • 5K Run

The courses are set on trails throughout the resort property. All registered participants receive a finisher medal and an event shirt, provided they register by the specified deadline in late August. After the race, a burrito buffet is provided for runners to refuel.

The event includes specific amenities for participants to stay on-site. Registration for any of the three distances includes complimentary camping at the ACE Adventure Resort for both Friday and Saturday nights.
