New Forest Brockenhurst Trail Run

The event takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Roundhill Campsite, Brockenhurst, inside the New Forest National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dogs are not allowed at the event. Spectators are welcome.

Course and distances

The routes run on wide, hard-packed gravel pathways through ancient woodland and heathland. The terrain is described as slightly undulating and relatively flat, with wildlife such as New Forest ponies, horses, donkeys and deer commonly seen near the trails. GPX files are provided for each route.

The longest route records roughly 183–185 m of elevation gain. The course will be signed with pink arrows and pink tape. Hazards and road junctions are marked with 'Caution' signs.

Facilities and race details

Entries include chip timing, a bib number, water stations, first aid support, encouraging marshals, a finishers medal, finisher goodie and a personalised certificate. The event operates a plastic-free policy at water stations, so runners are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle.
