New Forest Brockenhurst Trail Run
The event is based at Roundhill Campsite in the New Forest National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Routes run mostly on wide, hard-packed gravel paths through ancient woodland and heathland. Runners may encounter free-roaming New Forest ponies, horses, donkeys and deer alongside the trails.
The course is described as gently rolling with mostly runnable surfaces and clear signage using pink arrows and tape. Hazard points and road junctions are marked with caution signs. On-course support includes water stations, first aid cover and marshals.
Available distances:
- 21.6k Half Marathon, approximately 185 m elevation
- 16.7k Trail Run, approximately 123 m elevation
- 10k Trail Run, approximately 69 m elevation
Entries include chip timing, a finishers metal medal, a finisher goodie and a personalised certificate. Participants collect bib numbers at registration on arrival and are asked to display them on the front. The event operates a plastic free policy at water stations so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle.
