New Forest Brockenhurst Trail Run

The event takes place near Brockenhurst in the New Forest National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route follows wide, hard packed gravel paths through ancient woodland and heathland. Runners may encounter free-roaming New Forest ponies, horses, donkeys and deer along the trails.

The trails are described as well maintained and solid underfoot, suitable for running in various weather conditions. The course is slightly undulating with approximately 183m total elevation gain on the half marathon route. The route is waymarked using pink arrows and pink tape, and hazards or road junctions are marked with caution signs.
