Entry, kit and volunteering

Entries open on 13 October 2025 and close on 18 October 2025. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over-65s and under-18s. No entry limit is set. Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. The exact kit to be carried may be finalised on the day and advised at registration. Failure to carry required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification; random checks may be carried out. Volunteers are needed; completion of two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year is required to qualify for the end-of-year prize.
