Naticook Challenge 5K
The Naticook Challenge 5K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Wasserman Park in Merrimack. The event returns for its seventh year and is organized by Merrimack Parks & Recreation.
The course is trail based and runs within Wasserman Park and on the Conservation Trails that border the park. The distance is 5K and the route includes 12 or more beginner and intermediate level obstacles. Obstacle bypass options are available for participants who are unable to complete a specific challenge. Runners start in small groups organized into waves spaced three minutes apart.
Entries are limited to 200 participants and the fee is $40. The first 200 registered participants receive an official Naticook Challenge runners shirt and a finisher medal. Entries are final and nonrefundable. The event is held rain or shine.
Event guidelines include wearing flexible, non cotton material as suggested, no pets, no strollers or wheeled instruments on the course, and following all instructions from race staff and volunteers. Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Race photos will be available for purchase.
