Naticook Challenge 5K
The Naticook Challenge 5K is an annual obstacle course race held at Wasserman Park in Merrimack, New Hampshire. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, and marks the event's seventh year.
The course is a trail-based 5k that runs inside Wasserman Park and on the bordering conservation trails. The route includes 12 or more obstacles at a beginner to intermediate level, with examples such as crawling, climbing, or hanging. Obstacle bypass exercises are available for participants who cannot complete a given obstacle.
Entry is limited to 200 participants and the fee is $40. The first 200 registered participants will receive an official Naticook Challenge runners T-shirt and a finisher's medal. Runners will start in small groups in waves spaced three minutes apart.
Event guidelines include suggestions to wear non-cotton, flexible clothing, a prohibition on pets and strollers, and a requirement that runners under 14 be accompanied by an adult. All entries are final and non-refundable. The event takes place rain or shine, and race photos will be available for purchase.
