To qualify for the end-of-year prize, a person must complete two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year. Volunteers who run should check with the race director about combining roles; organisers prefer non-running volunteers. Participants are encouraged to aim to volunteer about once for every ten events they run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
