Moylussa Uphill

Moylussa Uphill is a mountain run held in Ballycuggaran, Co. Clare on Wednesday 29th April 2026. The course runs from the start of the fireroad leading into Ballycuggaran Forest and finishes at the top of Moylussa, with a recorded climb of 454 m over a distance of 4.50 km. The route description notes the fireroad start is just off the main road across from the lake and registration is at the Lough Derg carpark.

The event is listed as part of the Munster Uphill League. Race marking is limited to only major junctions and use of GPS devices during the race is not allowed. Early starts are not permitted.

Entries open on 27 April 2026 and close on 29 April 2026. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. The event has a maximum entry limit of 250.

Mandatory kit is Level B (Standard) and must be brought to the race; required items are a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag or equivalent.
