Mount Sparta Challenge
The Mount Sparta Challenge is a 24 hour endurance event held June 27 to 28, 2026 at Riverside Farm, 105 Tweed River Dr., Pittsfield, VT in the Green Mountains. The format uses a repeated two mile loop that gains 970 feet of elevation each lap.
Participants pursue either the highest number of completed laps or the goal of remaining on course for the full 24 hours. The event is presented as a Founders Event and tickets are listed from $135.00.
Racing as a team is the only way to secure the same start time for multiple entrants and it provides reduced entry cost when tickets are purchased together or via a referral link. A service member discount of up to 25 percent is available to qualifying US Military, US law enforcement, US firefighters and first responders including EMT, EMS, paramedics, nurses, and hospital doctors, and to US government employees; eligibility is verified via GOVX.
