Montane Ullswater Way Trail Ultra, 20 & 10 : Jenkins Field, Glenridding

The event is a set of three trail races around Ullswater on Sunday 23 May 2027 with race headquarters at Jenkins Field in Glenridding, Cumbria. Each course follows sections of the Ullswater Way; the Ultra includes two additional loops to increase the distance.

Distances

• 33.5 miles Trail Ultra includes Lowther and Dalemain loops
• 21.5 miles Trail 20 follows a full lap of Ullswater
• 10 miles Trail 10 covers the final section to Glenridding

Trail 10 runners register at race headquarters in Glenridding then start from Pooley Bridge; an optional event coach is available to transport Trail 10 runners to the start for an additional £10 if booked in advance. All runners must register at Race HQ before travelling to the Trail 10 start if they choose the coach or their own transport.

Entries close when the event is full or at midday on the Friday before the race. Runners must carry the items on the compulsory kit list. Minimum ages apply: entrants must be at least 16 years old on race day, and Ultra entrants must be at least 18.

Included with entry are a bespoke finisher medal, electronic timing, event photographs free to download, and feed stops on the route. The Ultra distance has specified cutoffs at intermediate feed stations to manage safety and marshal support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
