Montane Ullswater Way Trail Ultra, Trail 20 and Trail 10
The event offers three trail distances that follow the Ullswater Way around Ullswater in Cumbria. Event headquarters and registration are at Jenkins Field, Glenridding, CA11 0US. The Trail 10 starts at Pooley Bridge and runs the final section of the Ullswater Way back to Glenridding.
The courses are described as:
- 33.5 miles Ultra following the Ullswater Way plus the Lowther Loop and Dalemain Loop.
- 21.5 miles Trail 20 following a complete lap of the Ullswater Way.
- 10 miles Trail 10 covering the final part of the Ullswater Way from Pooley Bridge.
Age and entry details: competitors must be at least 18 on race day for the Ultra, and at least 16 for the Trail 20 and Trail 10. Entry fees are listed per distance; entries close when the event is full or at midday on the Friday before race day. Trail 10 runners register at Jenkins Field and may travel to the Pooley Bridge start independently or use an optional event coach available for a fee if booked in advance.
Safety and services: runners must carry the items on the compulsory kit list. The Ultra has cut off requirements expressed as maximum elapsed times from the start at specified feed stations and for the finish.
